Animal Energy Healing: What it is and what to expect

I have been very in tune with animals for as long as I can remember. Wherever I have been, out and about, at a friend's place, in a room full of people, they find their way to me. Sitting between my legs, settling beside me, climbing on me, curling up close. There has been a natural calmness between us, a quiet knowing of what they need and how they are communicating it. That connection has deepened and transformed over time, and it is now one of the most profound dimensions of the offering I hold.
Animals are extraordinarily honest. They move through the world without the layers of conditioning and protection that most of us have spent a lifetime building. Present, raw, and real in ways that most humans find deeply difficult to access. That openness makes them receptive to energy healing in a way that is immediate and visible, and it makes the sessions some of the most moving experiences I have in this offering.
There have been so many sessions that stayed with me. A few in particular involve older dogs who were deeply worried about their owners, holding on far longer than their bodies wanted to, out of loyalty and love and concern for what would happen once they were gone. What they were waiting for was permission. A simple, heartfelt acknowledgement from the person they loved most: it is okay. If you need to go, you can go.
One session was with a close friend of mine and his dog. The moment he gave her that permission, something visibly shifted in her. A day later, she passed on peacefully. She had needed to hear it. To sit in that grief together, to witness that exchange between a human and their animal, is something that stays with you. Animals are looking out for us, even in their final moments, even when they are no longer here.
My own experience with Snicks, my dog who swallowed toxic algae at the river, lives in me in the same way. Before we even left the river that day, something felt deeply off. I turned back and looked at the water and could see nothing that would explain it. And yet the feeling kept growing, all the way home, all the way through that terrible afternoon. There was a calmness inside the knowing, a clarity that something was profoundly wrong and that the direction of it was beyond my reach. That kind of knowing is what I have carried with animals my whole life. It is what I bring into every session.
When I am with an animal, I feel sensations in my body. I hear. I see. I watch patterns, body language, posture, breath, the subtle ways they shift and change within the space. Animals are constant communicators and every movement carries information.
I am always observing the human alongside the animal, because the two are deeply linked. Your companion is reflecting so much back about what is alive in the person beside them, and my role is to bring all of those puzzle pieces together into something coherent and useful for both of you.
In terms of what I receive intuitively, the process is the same whether I am with an animal or a human. The same body sensations, the same knowings, the same attentiveness to what is actually present. What is different is the quality of presence in the room. With animals there is so much more joy, so much more immediacy. Zero overthinking, zero attempt to logically explain what is happening. They act from pure instinct and pure feeling, without the filters that humans develop over a lifetime of learning to protect themselves. That rawness is one of the most beautiful things to be in the presence of.
Animals are among the most precious companions we will ever have, and they deserve support just as much as we do. Everything is energy, and your animal is absorbing a great deal of it, from the home environment, from their walks, from the emotional field of the people they love. They are also moving through their own experiences and trying to navigate a world that speaks a very different language from their own.
If you want to understand how your animal is actually communicating with you, what different behaviours and patterns mean, and how you can support each other on this path together, reach out. Have a conversation with me and we can go from there. This is a journey of giving and receiving, and it belongs to both of you.
Magic is everywhere. And animals remind us of that every single day.
